We are so excited to announce the engagement of our darling daughter Katie to Dr. Scott Topham! The date and place have been set for Saturday, September 6, 2008 in the St. George Temple. We will celebrate with a reception that evening at The Ledges Club House in St. George. An open house will follow on Friday, September 19 on the grounds of the historic and newly restored Garden Park LDS church in the Sugar House area of Salt Lake City.
Scott was raised in Salt Lake City. His parents still live in the same house where Scott grew up. He is a BYU graduate, served an LDS mission to Columbia, and received his doctorate from Baylor Dental School. He is a great guy and we are happy to welcome him to the family!

Vegas baby! Don't worry... they were not eloping! Katie and Scott in Las Vegas to watch the BYU basketball team play in a tournament. Scott's best buddies went with them so Katie got initiated into their tight group.
Even with a view from the top of somewhere Scott and Katie only have eyes for each other!
These two are always on the go doing creative dates and activities. Their time together ranges from bowling, to skiing, cooking gourmet meals, variety of musical concerts, working out, taking walks, ball games, watching diverse movies, and visiting state parks. They are either doing something fun or snuggling and smooching. It doesn't get much better than this!

Sounds and looks like a perfect match! Darling! Yeah for Katie. I am so excited for them. And with all the new marriages and grandkids in your family comes lots of teeth so another dentist is perfect. :)
